Independence
An independent, owner-focused ship manager, free to act in our clients’ best interests and built on a sound financial footing.
Cruz Sacra Ships (CSS) is an independent, Singapore-based ship management company delivering the technical management of bulk carriers and oil & chemical tankers, backed by a team with decades of seagoing and shore-side leadership.
Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Singapore — one of the world’s foremost maritime hubs — CSS combines the discipline of an established management organisation with the agility and personal attention of an independent company.
Our team of experienced masters, chief engineers and naval architects manages a portfolio of bulk carriers and oil & chemical tankers, supported by robust, certified management systems and a culture built on safety, transparency and continuous improvement.
We operate to international standards throughout the organisation. Our integrated management system is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and our operations are conducted in full compliance with the ISM, ISPS and MLC regimes, as well as applicable MARPOL and industry requirements — delivering consistent, auditable performance while staying responsive to each client’s commercial objectives.
From technical and crew management to newbuilding supervision and specialist marine services, we tailor our scope to each client’s needs while maintaining uncompromising standards of safety, quality and environmental care.
Who we are and how we work — the principles behind every vessel we manage.
To be a trusted, independent partner for the safe, reliable and efficient management of ships worldwide.
We enable owners to achieve their commercial and operational objectives through applied knowledge, seagoing experience and a disciplined, transparent approach to ship management.
An independent, owner-focused ship manager, free to act in our clients’ best interests and built on a sound financial footing.
Treating owners, seafarers, employees and suppliers fairly, honouring our commitments, and protecting the good reputation of Cruz Sacra Ships in everything we do.
Encouraging initiative and innovation, managing risk systematically, and keeping our processes lean, practical and free of unnecessary bureaucracy.
Ensuring safety at sea, protecting the marine environment, and acting as a responsible member of the wider maritime community.
Recognising good performance, drawing strength from the cultural diversity of our sea and shore staff, and investing in continuous learning and development. We make decisions for the long-term, sustainable future of the company — not for the short-term win.
Three complementary service lines that support owners from initial design through to day-to-day operation — engaged together or independently.
Complete technical and operational management that keeps vessels safe, compliant and ready to trade.
Naval-architecture and engineering support across newbuildings, conversions and retrofits.
Specialist services delivered through our regional office network, on the ground where you need them.
From our Singapore headquarters, CSS operates a regional network across Asia’s key shipbuilding, repair, crewing and trading centres — enabling fast decisions and hands-on support across time zones.
Our IMS is digitalised in QDMS on the MariApps platform and certified to three international standards.
Our conduct is governed by controlled policies approved by the Managing Director and applied across every CSS-managed vessel and shore office. Three of our core commitments are summarised below.
CSS conducts all ship operations with transparency, integrity and full compliance with international law. Ethical conduct is non-negotiable at every level — ashore, at sea and for third parties acting on our behalf.
Our occupational Health, Safety and Environmental commitment for ship and shore — protecting our people and the marine environment while meeting every legal and regulatory obligation.
CSS protects the marine, coastal and atmospheric environment and prevents pollution in all its forms, embedding environmental responsibility into every operational and management decision.
